Questions families ask
Plain answers to what couples, parents and planners ask us most.
About Krama
Who is Krama for?
Couples and their families planning an Indian wedding, and wedding planners who look after many weddings at once.
Do we need to install an app?
No. Krama works in the browser on any phone or computer. Guests don't need an account either.
Which languages does it support?
English today. Hindi, Hinglish, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Marwadi, Konkani and Punjabi are coming.
Privacy and your data
Where is our information kept?
On servers in India. Each wedding has its own private workspace that only the people you invite can open.
What happens after the wedding?
Your workspace is deleted automatically up to 60 days after your wedding. We remind you before it happens, and you can download everything before then or keep it a little longer.
Do you sell or share our data?
No. Your wedding's information is used only to plan your wedding.
Guests and RSVPs
Do our guests need to install an app?
No. Each household gets a private link that opens in any phone browser, so even elders can reply in a few taps.
Can guests reply for each function separately?
Yes. One link covers every function a household is invited to, and they answer yes or no for each.
Can a guest remove their details?
Yes. Every RSVP page has a "Remove my details" button that deletes that guest's details straight away.
Family and planners
Can a cousin help with the guest list without seeing the budget?
Yes. You choose what each person can see and change. Helpers only see their own tasks and guests, and never the money.
Can our planner use Krama with us?
Yes. Invite your planner into your workspace and plan together. Planners can also run many weddings from one login.
Paying
How do we pay?
One price covers your whole wedding. You can pay by UPI, card or netbanking. Add-ons such as WhatsApp messages are optional.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. You pay once for your wedding.
